This position reports to Procurement Sr. Manager and is based at São Paulo or São José dos Campos-SP.

What you will do

The Strategic Sourcing Specialist is responsible for develop, deploy and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize processes and improve Kenvue overall results.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies that align with business objectives and goals.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.

• Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.

• Lead negotiations with suppliers to achieve the best possible terms for price, quality, and delivery.

• Manage supplier performance and conduct regular supplier evaluations to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.

• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure continuity of supply.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to inform sourcing decisions.

• Provide leadership and guidance to junior purchasing staff to ensure local purchasing needs are met.

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement roles.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.

• Advanced english

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze trends and make process improvement recommendations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Desired Qualifications

• Advanced spanish

• Proven track record of successfully negotiating complex contracts for large nonstandard purchases.

• Experience with supplier management and conducting supplier evaluations.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to think strategically and creatively.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
