Position Summary: This role is responsible for the creation, development, evolution, and delivery of all organizational Learning, Development, and DEI strategies in support of our collective business growth. These strategies must be aligned with our DEI aspiration, our business strategy, and our overarching people strategy. This role plays a critical part in ensuring Hannaford and its people continue to grow competence, capacity, and continue to thrive in a dynamic industry and environment, short and long-term. This role will be the key practitioner of our Leadership Team's development, as well as key consult for business sponsors on all major business initiatives, ensuring people and change are optimally lead and considered throughout. This role is responsible for educating, supporting, and leading two other OD/L&D professionals, ensuring their priorities and work are aligned with the OD, Learning, and DEI strategies of the organization.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Diagnoses root cause analysis, provides a broad range of OD interventions to enable organization, functions, work groups and teams to successfully develop and grow.
• Delivers and drives the importance of organizational change management, strategic planning, leadership development, skill building, coaching, team development and content specific workshops.
• Responsible for assessing, analyzing, developing and facilitating organizational learning, development, and DEI strategies.
• Partners with VPs and Directors to build business partnerships and provides strong consultation to develop functional strategies that align with the overall business strategy and associate experience.
• Lead organizational learning and/or development initiatives to enhance performance, productivity, and employee engagement across the organization.
• Produces high quality, strategic, systemic and sustainable OD interventions to drive business results and advance organizational culture.
• Monitors, measures and evaluates effectiveness of OD interventions; Reports out on organizational capacity growth.
• Works collaboratively with collective HR team to ensure synergies of HR strategies and efforts
• Supports HR Talent team other functions as needed.
• Partners with HR and Retail leadership to design large scale interventions, including the annual Hannaford Leadership summit and Store Manager summits.
• Develops and executes Hannaford talent assessment strategy
• Stays up to speed with current and emerging OD, Learning and DEI practices and approaches
• Serves as a coach and empower managers to build diverse and inclusive teams, recognizing the value of a culture add rather than merely a culture fit.
• Support and provide guidance to Business Resource Groups, ensuring they align with overall DEI objectives and contribute to the organization's culture.
• Responsible for the management of multiple, concurrent projects, including organizing resources for development and implementation, monitoring project activities, evaluating output and impact on the business, and leveraging the ADUSA Learning and Organizational Effectiveness Teams for development as available and needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or a related-field
7+ years of OD experience
5+ year of DEI experience
5+ years of experience leading people
Strong knowledge base and working understanding of all state and federal laws, regulations, principles, and policies surrounding people, equal opportunity
Expert knowledge and skilled practice in OD theory, approaches and application
Proven understanding of business strategy
Proficient in Office365 software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneNote, PowerBI etc.)
Preferred:
Strong working knowledge and experience with adult learning theories
Proficiency in design platforms

Ability to analyze, conduct needs assessments; identify effective and sustainable OD solution to drive change
Proven ability to influence without authority
Strong proven ability to manage and lead large organizational change to deliver a successful outcome

Strong ability and curiosity to learn, apply, and teach new methods/skillsets
Self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects and priorities

Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, including outstanding verbal and written communication
Must be able to hold and handle sensitive and confidential information
The Saalry Range for this Position is $120,960-$181,440
