Position Summary: This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive recruiting strategies to attract, hire, and retain top talent across all levels of the organization. The Manager of Recruiting will play a critical role in ensuring our workforce is aligned with the company's growth objectives, associate value proposition and organizational culture so that Hannaford will continue to be an employer of choice for years to come.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the development, continuous evolution, education, and communication of all recruiting strategies, programs and tactics for the brand.
• Foster strong partnerships across the Director and Vice President communities to ensure strong support, alignment, and execution of strategies and tactics, both in the home office and retail.
• Subject matter expert on all elements of recruiting and onboarding; strong understanding of the role that talent attraction plays in the entire employee lifecycle.
• Manage, coach, motivate and empower team of two recruiters (early talent and home office) to deliver successful talent outcomes.
• Support retail-appointed staffing resources to lead recruiting successfully in their markets which includes but is not limited to: short and long-term talent planning, technical recruiting functions, community partnerships, awareness and education of the various recruiting vendor partnerships available etc.
• Ensure recruitment strategies, practices, programs, and processes are aligned with company values, HR strategies, diversity, equity and inclusion aspirations, and any state or federal regulations or requirements.
• Serves as a key partner to retail operations on the design and execution of any seasonal or strategic hiring initiatives.
• Responsible for identifying new platforms and partnerships to extend the reach of all job postings and brand awareness as an employer.
• Partner with Marketing to develop all talent marketing toolkits, resources, and campaigns, ensuring that we're marketing talent internally and externally in a way that attracts all generations and reinforces our associate value proposition.
• Strategically identify, develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including universities, industry associations, recruitment agencies etc.
• Regularly solicit and utilize feedback, data, and analytics to assess the effectiveness of recruiting strategies and tactics, ensuring data-driven decisions. Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment activities, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership.
• Responsible for identifying, researching, and assessing current and future workforce and/or workplace trends, ensuring our practices are aligned with the future of how work gets done.
• Develop, evolve and refine our associate value proposition. Continue to identify ways to leverage, educate and communicate our associate value proposition, with current and prospective associates.
• Identify any relevant and impactful global, national or local employer certification opportunities. Partner with External and Internal comms, HRBP Compliance and others to complete workplace certifications that generate awareness and strategically position Hannaford as an employer of choice in our markets.
• Sets a high standard for and as a talent and brand ambassador; actively role models these behaviors internally and externally.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supports company mission, values and upholds standards of ethics and integrity.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in recruitment, and 3-5 years in a managerial role is a plus.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful recruiting strategies for a large-scale organization.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing recruitment team.
• In-depth knowledge of recruitment best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
• Strong working knowledge of grocery retail operations is a plus.

• Able to work a flexible schedule to be available to speak to candidates at off-hours in the evening or over the weekend.
• Flexibility to travel across our footprint (25-30%) and work a schedule dictated by business needs
The Salary Range for this Position is $120,960-$181,440
