AV Systems Engineer

Zurich North America is seeking an AV Systems Engineer supporting development and integrations for the AV services team working from the Schaumburg, IL North America HQ.

Responsibilities:

• Manage access, roles and hierarchy associated with critical AV platforms.

• Work with internal communications partners to deliver key messages to HQ and remote office staff via digital signage.

• Develop digital templates and connectors within the Appspace platform.

• Work closely with AV team to monitor/diagnose/repair AV equipment.

• Script and automate processes supporting deployments and updates.

• Integrate services with APIs.

• Build and maintain close working relationships with peers and stakeholders as appropriate.

• Constantly seeks to innovate and improve and gains exposure to methods/techniques/solutions.

• Propose potential new initiatives or areas for improvement.

• Demonstrate a lean thinking, innovative attitude that strives for customer centricity.

Required:

• Bachelors Degree and 0 or more years of experience in the information technology, security awareness and education development or communications area

OR

• Zurich Certified Apprentice, including Association Degree and 0 or more years of experience in the information technology, security awareness and education development or communications area

OR

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years experience in information technology, security awareness and education development or communications area

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with scripting (ex. PowerShell).

• Knowledge of AV/smart device environment and system integrations.

• Prior work with data management and report building.

• Experience with integrations/API calls.

• Understanding of M365 data environment.

• Appspace highly preferred
