Responsibilities Job Summary The Business Intelligence Developer designs, develops, and maintains business intelligence solutions that promotes data driven decision making across the organization under the direction of Senior Developers or Leads. The Developer works collaboratively with business and clinical stakeholders, business analysts, technical support teams and leadership to design and deploy analytic solutions that support operational, clinical, and financial performance improvement. The incumbent utilizes critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills to create data models, subject area marts, reports, data visualizations, and self-service tools that meet customer needs. Utilizes business intelligence development tools to design, deploy, and maintain data models, extracts, subject area marts, stored procedures, and self-service reporting tools that support organization wide data driven activities under supervision. Develops and maintains reports, data visualizations, and interactive dashboards that meet customer needs. Maintains regular written and verbal communications with key stakeholders and leadership to support the design, implementation, validation and governance of business intelligence solutions. Supports the department in maintaining electronic medical record business intelligence data models, functions, and reports, including upgrades. Documents technical/business specifications, performs testing and data validation to support data governance and maintenance of business intelligence solutions. Performs data analysis to support organization clinical, financial, and operational performance improvement initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education Associate's Degree or 2 years' work related experience Required Licenses and Certifications Must take Epic’s Clarity Data Model training and successfully gain initial certifications within three attempts. Epic training will be given upon hiring. Required
