The Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle Downtown Pioneer Square is looking for aBreakfastCook to join their team. The Embassy Suites has 282 guest rooms andnearly15,000square feetof event space. They are steps away from football and soccer games at Lumen Field and less than a half mile from baseball at T-Mobile Park. Union Station is a block east for easy access to attractions, like Int'l District, the Space Needle and Pike Place. The property also has a health club inclusive of a heated indoor pool, sun deck, and equipment including a Peloton® Bike with toe cages. They also provide a free breakfast and complimentary evening reception.

If you are an early riser, have at least 1 year of line cooking experience (preferably in Breakfast), and are looking for your next career opportunity, this may bea great rolefor you!The ideal candidate will have the ability to work a varied schedule and experience with Breakfast specifically omelets.Hotel experience is a plus!

Schedule: Availability from 4:30a-2:30p (in and out times staggered). Weekend and holiday availabilityrequired.

Wage: The hourly rate is $25.23 per hour to start and $28.03 after90 daysand is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

What will I be doing?

As a Cook, you wouldbe responsible forpreparing food itemsin accordance withrecipes and established standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you wouldbe responsible forperforming the following tasks to the highest standards:

Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards

Maintain cleanliness andcomply withfood sanitation standards at all times

Manage guest orders in a friendly,timelyand efficient manner

Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products

Stock andmaintaindesignated food station(s)

Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen

Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations

Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed
