Job Summary The Employee Relations Partner, Senior is responsible for the development and administration of the employee relations program. This includes gathering, collecting, and maintaining documents and records required for policy development, investigations, and employee advocacy. This position interfaces with employees, government agencies and internal/external legal counsel. Essential Responsibilities Design, plan, and partner with business leaders to implement company-wide employee relations initiatives to promote positive employee relations, engagement, and overall job satisfaction. Handles complex human resource inquiries related to policies and procedures. Serves as the initial contact and liaison for intake and assessment of employee complaints. Ensures timely processing and review of complaints by coordinating, monitoring, and streamlining complaint procedures. Pursuant to established documentation procedures, records discriminatory factors and corrective actions identified through investigations of employment practices or alleged violations. Conducts investigations and resolve complaints for employee relations matters such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other concerns. Assists with recordkeeping related to hiring, termination, leave, transfer, and promotion particularly as related to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), affirmative action, and diversity initiatives. Conducts surveys, interviews, and other research related to human resource policies, and compensation; collects information and reports results to People & Culture Director. Conducts exit interviews, summarizes findings, and discusses trends and concerns with senior management. Maintains knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations related to EEO, affirmative action, and human resources. Ability to organize plans and to write policies, documents, and reports including EEO-1, affirmative action plans, organizational charts, and employee handbooks.
