ON SITE - PAT STEEL BUILDING POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Provide high-level complex operational, programmatic and administrative support to the Patient Safety Officer and Associate Medical Director
Plan, implement and monitor activities within the purview of the Patient Safety Program (PSP), Quality Improvement (QI) department DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION PATIENT SAFETY, HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide logistical support for event reviews, rounds, committees/workgroups managed by Patient Safety Program leadership, including scheduling, coordinating agenda and minutes
Manages calendars and communication for PS leaders – Patient Safety Officer, Associate Medical Director for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety
Manage database including item entry, follow up and closure
Provide secondary support for PS and QI leader and staff roles in HMC regulatory functions and other HMC and system level PS and QI activities REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree
2 Years’ experience as executive assistant or program coordinator with complex scheduling experience
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Access
Ability to manage complex, time sensitive projects including scheduling responsibilities related to quality, safety and regulatory requirements
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently with complex data collection system
Ability to prepare and present information and communicate effectively with clinical providers and quality improvement team members, as well as other HMC constituents
Ability to coordinate information gathering and dissemination within a complex administrative system
