Aon Is Looking For A Health Solutions Specialist - Located in Seattle, Washington Your Impact As A Health Solutions Specialist Job Responsibilities: Colleague developing/acquiring health and benefits knowledge, practical application and consulting/broking skills, works on client teams with limited client exposure Works as part of a team to deliver client work Seeks out others to get input on resolving issues and problems Works as part of a team to deliver client work Contributes to client reports/deliverables with direct oversight Exposed to and building understanding of tools and deliverables Participates in internal calls and meetings with more senior team members Takes accountability for own development and career progression Begins to build a network of internal resources and recognizes when it is appropriate to reach out to them Begins working with vendors on issues with more senior team members Stays up to date on client information, including client's internal structure and changes affecting Aon work. Probes effectively to define client needs and identify underlying issues. Learns about health care market trends and major competitors; understands market based rationale for business decisions; actively seeks technical experience and knowledge Understands basic business and financial concepts and their impact on our business Applies basic concepts of project management Understands the relationship between time recording to profitability/recoverability Under moderate supervision, collects, analyzes, and prepares information to facilitate requirements of client requests and/or support the activities of assigned AE/consultant. May analyze the information or data and run reports and/or charts. Learns and utilizes appropriate Aon systems relevant to the role (Greater Insight, SFDC, Client Planner Bridge) Ensures own work is complete and thorough Begins to develop/acquire understanding of sales process and supports as necessary Begins to draw conclusions and observe trends. Work activities may cover a wide range of data in a specialized area. High level of direction and oversight needed. Participates in learning all relevant industry data. Prepares client materials You Bring Knowledge and Expertise Required Experience: 0-3 years of previous related insurance experience Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel Critical thinking and analytical skills Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
