Industrial Product Designer

*6+ month contract *

Fully remote Position Overview Amazon is seeking an experienced Industrial Product Designer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial design and a passion for creating user-centered products. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and develop products that meet customer needs and business objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering, and manufacturing teams to create innovative product designs
• Create high-quality 3D renderings and technical specifications
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Drive product development from concept to production
• Develop concept sketches and presentation decks

*Requirements: *

• 6+ years of industrial design experience, preferably in a related industry.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar).
• Experience with generative AI tools to enhance the design process.
• Manufacturing and material knowledge
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present ideas and collaborate with teams.
• A portfolio showcasing a range of industrial design projects and processes.
