Our client, an eCommerce fashion retailer, is looking for a Video Editor to join their team for 4 weeks starting as soon as identified.In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be able to work onsite in Secaucus, NJ on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The Video Editor will work remotely on Thursday and Friday.As the Video Editor, you will be working under the Senior Manager of Marketing and with the VP of Creative to create videos for social media.The Video Editor will be responsible for: - taking both iPhone video footage and professional video content to edit 20-30 second videos for the retailer's social channels, primarily UGC content - making edits to the videos as needed based on feedback from the Senior Manager of Marketing and the VP of Creative- utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite to edit videos and to add simple animation elements with a focus on type animation- making multiple versions of videos to have a variety to choose from and to have for other social videos - working cross functionally with the Copy team to ensure the correct copy is included in the videosREQUIREMENTS: - 3+ years of video editing experience ideally in the fashion/retail industry- a strong portfolio that shows clean transitions in video work and highlights type animation skills- proficient in Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and working knowledge of Adobe Express is a plus- strong communication and collaboration while working both onsite and offsite - a creative thinker who can bring ideas to the table for video content- strong attention to detailIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
