We are looking for a Field Sales Operations Manager to join our Korea Global Sales Operations (GSO) team, to partner with Sales Operations Leadership to develop metrics and analysis to measure success of sales programs, automate operational processes, and invent new ways of diving deep with data to uncover actionable business insights to help us serve our customers in their journey to the cloud. The successful candidate has broad technical skills, strong financial acumen, deep analytic experience and a passion for driving operational excellence.

The successful candidate must be able to roll-up their sleeves, work autonomously, and be a quick learner. You will drive towards simple, scalable solutions to day-to-day problems, be highly organized, and be able to communicate results, both written and verbally, in a clear and easy-to-understand way. You will proactively seek answers in self-service tools, and know when to ask for guidance. You are passionate about your work, detail-oriented, analytical, and demonstrate problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate problems and roadblocks as needed.

You will manage multiple assignments and requests/processes concurrently, prioritizing accordingly, and deliver timely results. You will look for commonalities across our business needs, recommend improvements to accelerate current scaling mechanisms, and leverage automation to grow our capacity in line with the growth of the business. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving improvements to reporting tools, methods, and processes utilized by the team to streamline sales operations activities and increase visibility and effectiveness of sales programs.

This position will work with the several stakeholders supporting the extended AWS Korea Sales organization. The individual must have the ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business units, as well as across other Korea Teams.

Key job responsibilities

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Create insightful analysis, reports, and dashboards to improve both Customer and Sales experience

  • Develop key sales support systems/processes required to meet the rapid growth of the business

  • Develop relationships and work with sales, partner, sales operations, and other stakeholders to create and refine the tools and processes needed to drive productivity increases.

  • Prepare ad hoc analysis & participate on projects as needed.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of working experience in Sales compensation, Sales Operations, Business Insights & Analytics, or related quantitative functions in a large scale multi-geographical hi-tech Sales Organization.

  • Possess structured communication skills that enables to lead communications with multiple stakeholders

  • Should be proficient in languages both in Korean and English

  • Have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically towards both business and challenges

  • Demonstrated operational excellence experience, as well as data driven problem-solving skills and experience with simplifying complexity and developing scalable propositions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in IT industry would be a plus

  • Passion for cloud technologies – working knowledge and experience in cloud computing

  • Operational excellence mind-set and experience. Data driven. Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results

  • Ability to effectively lead and work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities.

  • BA/BS degree, and a technical background is a plus, but not mandatory
