Work Information:

  • Work Location : ASEM Tower (Samsung-dong, Seoul)

  • Work Type : 100 % Onsite

Primary Responsibilities

  • Applies industrial engineering concepts, approaches and techniques to products, processes and services to meet program requirements

  • Participates in the evaluation of new techniques and technological developments for integration into the production process and service operations

  • Conducts resource planning, simulation, and work flow design for complex manufacturing operations

  • Analyzes work flow design for developing and verifying algorithms for disruption forecasts, impact prediction, and prioritized work orders

  • Provides production, supply chain logistics, performance visibility and recovery planning support

  • Supports research, design, development, and implementation of processes and tools to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality for large scale systems integration and asset utilization

  • Supports the development of factory layouts, capacity plans, sequencing of operations and work flows

  • Independently manages, defines, negotiates, and controls the scope cost and timing of projects and performs risk analysis using project management tools

  • Supports execution planning by using project management, planning and scheduling practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, or Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field with a double major/minor in Industrial Engineering

  • Proficient in development and verification of time-driven or discrete-event simulations of production planning and manufacturing operations to build a digital twin for streamlining production processes

  • Experience with formulating, implementing, and validating global optimization and algorithms for aerospace engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain applications

  • Strong background in various tools such as Python, MATLAB, and Microsoft Project

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, multinational teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in working with simulation software such as Arena, Simio, or AnyLogic is a plus

  • Proven experience in project management from the aerospace industry or related field

This is for an international, locally hired position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not on Boeing US-based payroll.
