RANDERSON HEATING & COOLING LLC HVAC Service Technician in SEYMOUR, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Perform routine preventative maintenance/tune-ups on gas furnaces, gas boilers, air conditioners, air handlers and humidifiers Inspect and perform equipment repairs of HVAC equipment to obtain the most efficient operating results and life expectancy Respond to emergency maintenance requests and troubleshoot/resolve issues Exchange parts in warranty and return Maintain truck inventory; restocking as needed and keeping vehicle clean and organized Willing to work from heights (ladders, roofs, scissor lifts, etc.) Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices Participate in a rotating On-Call schedule for after-hours and weekends Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to improve efficiency, such as by changing filters, or refilling non-toxic refrigerants. Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring. Record and report time, materials, faults, deficiencies, or other unusual occurrences on work orders. Recommend, develop, or perform preventive or general maintenance procedures, such as cleaning, power-washing, or vacuuming equipment, oiling parts, or changing filters. Install or repair air purification systems, such as specialized filters or ultraviolet (UV) light purification systems. Install and test automatic, programmable, or wireless thermostats in residential or commercial buildings to minimize energy usage for heating or cooling. Discuss heating or cooling system malfunctions with users to isolate problems or to verify that repairs corrected malfunctions.
