About the role

The role of Supply Business Analyst is naturally flexible to bridge across multiple areas of D&T scope depending on priorities agreed with the markets across APAC region. A strong understanding of the business processes and expectations as well as existing system usage allows you to identify opportunities for technology-enabled innovation and work collaboratively to deliver on our commitments.

Provides the insight to define and measure “As Is” business capability maturity, understand the gaps to close and define the required “To Be” model to deliver against Diageo strategic goals. They will inspire, engage, and collaborate with subject matter experts across Diageo to define the process, data, people and tech to deliver strategic business outcomes.

Top Accountabilities

Supply Business Analysis:

  • Capturing as Is business capability maturity and Process.

  • Define, align & publish To Be business capability maturity to deliver Diageo strategic objectives – including target process flows

  • Anticipating & identifying future opportunities and providing external perspectives, provocation.

  • Support application rationalization roadmap

  • Support development of robust business case to facilitate effective and transparent strategic prioritization of D&T & Business investment

  • Support identification of high-level impact of change from development/transformation of identified business capabilities

Business engagement and value realisation:

  • Build credible relationships with stakeholders and SME’s within region enabling you to truly understand and represent the market within D&T.

  • Collaborate with market(s) to identify technology solutions that align with their strategic priorities and drive operational efficiency.

  • Conscious of and works towards value optimisation of D&T for their market, considering new technology investments, adoption and usage of key systems as well as service excellence.

Strategy and execution:

  • Participate and perform analysis in strategic planning sessions to provide technology insights and recommendations.

  • Work closely with business units to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technology initiatives.

  • Collaborate with the solution teams in respective value streams to successfully deliver the technology roadmap as per commitments.

  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality metrics

  • Support business units during the transition to new technology solutions, ensuring organisational impact is understood and prepared for.

  • Support change management efforts to facilitate smooth technology adoption within the region.

  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of technology implementations and make recommendations for improvement.

  • Monitor adoption of solutions and define interventions where needed

Service operations and employee experience:

  • Have an awareness of operational tech landscape; staying aware of service and maintenance activities and supporting as needed.

  • Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiencies in ways of working

  • Work as part of regional team on overall Regional Performance Management reporting.

  • Prioritize business requirements

  • Ensure security governance (ITGC)

  • Manage vendor performance

Experience / skills required

  • Relevant IT business analysis/service, with exposure to the manufacturing/supply projects.

  • Experience in identifying and assessing business capability maturity required to deliver strategic outcomes

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain good business relationships

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively engage cross-functional global teams

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information science or a relevant field

  • Training or knowledge of supported business domain areas

  • A strong track record of working within large matrixed organizations

  • Has a passion for continuous improvement

  • Hands-on experience managing mainstream digital integration architectures (e.g., API-led connectivity, event-driven middleware) and delivering end-to-end supply chain digitalization initiatives from business case development to post-go-live optimization

  • A proven track record in complex SAP S/4 HANA implementations/operation in relevant domain e.g. manufacturing, material management, EWM. SAP S/4 HANA Super User certification is preferrable.

  • Has the foresight to see potential issues, performance challenges and risks, and has the necessary skills to influence and negotiate with the right people to maintain performance

  • Is comfortable (and resilient) working in a fluid, fast-changing environments under pressure with high levels of ambiguity

  • An understanding of both the current business’s industry and emerging business, manufacturing and technology trends

  • Ability to travel within the region as required.
