Job Summary
We are looking for the Project Manager, where assigned, has the overall responsibility and authority for the implementation and execution of large, highly sophisticated and International projects as instructed below.This role includes having a complete understanding of the project scope and requirements and having ownership for timely delivery, profitability and margin uplift.If you possess the requirements we are seeking for, this exciting role is for you!
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
1.Early Engagement
Negotiate the initial scope of the project, change orders, progress payments, terms and conditions and all additions or expansions to the project, Local Business Partner and Global Industry Sales personnel.
Quote and be responsible for the Lead-Time and Comments to the Manufacturing Specs during the pursuit phase
Approve the lead-time dedication, especially during negotiations
Approve any deviations to Comments related to Manufacturing Specs and understand comments to Commercial T&C’s, Legal T&C’s and Technical Product Spec.
Lead tender risk review meeting.
Participate in joint project review/discussion with the project pursuit team.
Work together with Project Pursuit to present and promote Emerson Project Certainty to potential customers.
2.Execution
Lead internal and external communication meetings to ensure alignment
Lead the External kick-off meeting or customer technical communication meeting when the order is committed to Emerson
Plan and host the Internal Kick-off Meeting to align project scope and project schedule, work out mitigation plans for all open issues
Coordinate the Pre-Inspection meeting with the Customer’s Inspector and achieve clarity to the inspection requirements.
Ensure the PO to Quote reconciliation is completed, which includes resolving all issues prior to PO Acceptance.
After PO award, work with order engineer to process SO into ERP system in time according to clean order policy.
Develop and lead the Project Plan that includes schedules, achievements, procurement strategy, execution strategy, financial targets, resources, communications and considerations of risks.
Ensure alignment with the Customer on the Commitment Date and the Customer PO Dates including landmark dates for drawing and procedure submittals, drawing and procedures approvals, equipment inspection notifications, and “Ready for Inspection” dates.
Handle and control project execution progresses, ensure each delivery (either documentation submission or physical good's shipment) will be achieved per project breakthrough, and with the right quality.
Provide leadership for a comprehensive project team consisting of project administration, order administration, engineering and plant project personnel who are responsible for implementing portions of the project. Provide input for performance evaluations.
Run change orders for an improved financial performance effectively.
Establish and lead financial targets and metrics for the project.
Interface and continuously connect with customer, Contractor and LBP throughout the project life to provide updates, turning points and progress.
Work with the Close Out Team to finalize project completion including the MRO handoff and documentation.

You persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks. You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels. You understand that different situations may call for different approaches.
For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor's degree in Science and Engineering (or equivalent) with minimum 5 years’ working experience particularly in project management or engineering, experience with EPC (Oil & Gas, Shipbuilding, Petrochemical) is preferred.
Passionate about business growth and strong risk management/problem solving skills.
Strong in developing/implementing efficient project management processes & continuous improvement initiatives.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills both in Mandarin and English.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- PMP certification is highly desirable.
