About the role

Implement the engineering sustaining of compressor technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

As a (Sr. Product Engineer), you’ll be responsible for:

• Utilize compressor technical knowledge to achieve products manufacturing in factory base drawings and requirements, Work with compressor and chiller designer engineer / manufacturing engineer/ quality engineer/ to give suggestion on the design improvement on compressors performance, cost, manufacturability, serviceability and quality.

• Working with other functions support to build Engineering Checking Sample and Manufacturing Checking Sample; Support Manufacturing function to achieve production line running smoothly. Troubleshooting the issue meeting in manufacturing

• Work with Supply-chain function to select purchasing part and communicates Specification to supplier, update product cost associate with different design stage.

• Take lead NPCA process so that manufacturing can follow design change timely; release drawings and upgrade BOM timely

• Support Quality function for supplier development and qualification; and take lead keys parts localization to achieve cost reduction.

• Take lead to build the calorimeter test station and provide technical support of other air run test station

• Troubleshooting in job site and support aftermarket to resolve compressor quality issues

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

• Master or Bachelor degree with major in Compressor & HVAC or related area.

• High priority for Candidates who can communicate in English at work, and also know some Japanese, and communicate in simple Japanese.

• At least 5 year@ Bachelor and r At least 5 year@ Master elated working experience on Rotary or Centrifugal or Other refrigerating compressor sustaining engineering experience.

• High priority similar experience to Carrier.

• Strong communication skills, Primarily in English fluently ; Teamwork skills required
