JOB REQUIREMENTS: Responsible for the execution of quality assurance and quality systems applications within the quality department and across the business; apply proactive, systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues; lead projects and teams on a variety or production matters; use a diversified knowledge of engineering, software verification, and other practices; drive corrective and preventive actions for internal nonconformances; monitor scrap performance versus objectives, and provide insights and data analysis for scrap defect resolution; utilize SPC (Statistical Process Control), Process Capability Analysis, APQP, PDCA, DMAIC, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, Lean Manufacturing Principles, Poka-Yoke, DOE (Design of Experiments), Kaizen, and Minitab to perform duties; prepare and update process flow charts, control plans, and PFMEA while focusing on RPN reduction; generate Quality Assurance Department procedures and work instructions; maintain adherence to company policies and safety standards; ensure compliance to assigned customer specific requirements; determine disposition of contained product; ensure that training and development needs are identified; and develop short and long-range objectives; design and develop quality inspection system that sustains data collection, product evaluation and reaction criteria; implement systemic actions and reduce the internal and external scraps; responsible for handling customer concerns and drive corrective/improvement actions using multiple quality tools, including Fishbone, 5-why, and 8D; develop statistical process control techniques including control charts to monitor the stability of processes; lead cross functional team for successful deployment of customer specific requirements to meet design/process capabilities and drive continuous improvement activities; develop and document advanced quality documents for the PPAP requirement in compliance with the APQP/AIAG standards, including FMEAs, Process Flows, Control Plans and Gage R&R studies; analyze product performance data to determine the process capabilities (Cpk and Ppk) and improve the process controls; lead safe launch programs with the prototype/pre-launch functions; perform regular and periodic internal audits; and support IATF 16949 audits and customer audits. Location: 4243 Gateway Drive, Sheboygan, WI 53081; Salary: \$100,466 per year; Education: Master\'s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree); Experience: Four (4) years in the position above, as an Industrial Engineer, as a Product Engineer, as a Program Engineer, as a Quality Control Inspector, as a Quality Engineer, or in a related occupation; Other Requirements: Experience must include three (3) years\' use of all the following: SPC (Statistical Process Control), Process Capability Analysis, APQP, PDCA, DMAIC, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, Lean Manufacturing Principles, Poka-Yoke, DOE (Design of Experiments), Kaizen, and Minitab.
