Maintenance Supervisor
Responsibilities
Develop, coach, and manage personnel to maintain proper competency levels.
Provide appropriate recognition, guidance, or counseling related to job performance and absenteeism.
Review critical equipment areas on shift that service the entire plant.
Implement maintenance safety program segments, including audits, non-stock supply, and permits.
Ensure 5S standards in the maintenance area.
Ensure communication and root cause identification for on-shift response items.
Keep personnel schedules up to date in the Kronos system.
Ensure CMMS work order completion by personnel and audit records.
Dispatch vendors as necessary for facility unplanned shift events.
Perform actions and recommendations to overcome technical downtime problems, reduce waste, and improve team performance.
Essential Skills
Experience in maintenance supervision
Strong, proven track record in results-oriented, adaptable, standards-driven, developing, influential, and informative competencies.
Demonstrated ability to adapt communication style to interact with a wide variety of people.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
Employee Benefits: Pilkington offers participation in the Union Employee benefits program, applicable for your position beginning the first of the month following two full months of employment. Full-time employees are eligible for the 401k program after 90 days of employment12.
