Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Cable Tray Material Handler 1st shift. The hourly range for this position is $20.38 - $22.70 per hour. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. • You will be responsible for unloading and loading material from trucks and/or other departments in order to keep the flow of product smooth and efficient.

• You will move raw materials in a safe manner and dispose of scrap.

• You will operate forklifts.

• You will store, space, and deliver materials or products.

• You will stack pallets and arrange materials.

• You will receive training on the use of power truck and other powered material handling equipment (ex. walking crane or hoist).

• You will perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution

• Previous Forklift experience with both standup and sitdown lifts. .

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong product knowledge.

Position Criteria:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally to frequently (33-66%) and up to 75 lbs. occasionally by stooping, reaching, bending with or without accomodation

• Ability to follow directions, work independently and close attention to detail

• Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product

• Ability to reach, grasp and manipulate¬

• Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays and up to 12 hours in a shift, as needed by the business

• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (eight to twelve hours) and perform repetitious tasks
