Honeywell Chemical Operator - Level 1 in Shreveport, Louisiana

As a Chemical Operator Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in the production of our Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS) products. You will be responsible for operating and monitoring chemical processing equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient production of high-quality materials. Your attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols will be essential in maintaining a safe working environment.

You will report directly to our Production Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Shreveport, Louisiana location.

In this role, you will impact the production process by operating and monitoring chemical processing equipment, following standard operating procedures, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of the manufacturing process. This position will operate on a rotating shift from 6:15am to 6:30pm and 6:15pm to 6:30am.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate chemical processing equipment according to standard operating procedures

  • Monitor and control process variables to ensure product quality and efficiency

  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance

  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines

    YOU MUST HAVE

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous experience in a chemical manufacturing or related environment

  • Basic understanding of chemical processes and equipment

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
