We are seeking a dynamic and visionary General Manager for our Distribution Center who will be the cornerstone of our team’s culture and operations. The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge and understanding of warehouse and distribution management, and demonstrates exceptional leadership qualities, embodying strength, determination, and humility, and fostering a collaborative environment that utilizes alternative perspectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Culture Development:

• Operational Excellence:

• Oversee the planning and utilization of warehouse space and the efficient flow of inventory.

• Support implementation of WMS technology and processes, continuously seeking to understand how we can utilize automations and efficiencies.  

• Ensure safety and quality standards are met or exceeded, maintaining exceptional operational performance.

• Manage all aspects of the facility, including equipment, technology, supplies, team-building activities, and onsite amenities.

• Handle human resource functions effectively, including recruitment, training, and performance management, to build a highly engaged team.

• Strategic Leadership:

• Drive change initiatives proactively, rather than waiting for direction, to ensure the continuous improvement and growth of the distribution center.

• Work collaboratively with offsite teams to align goals and achieve organizational objectives.

• Think strategically and execute plans to create a sustainable and enjoyable business environment that provides opportunities for team members.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in warehouse and distribution management.

• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to develop a highly engagement team and layers of leadership.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on strategic thinking and execution.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and feedback.

• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
