What you’ll do:

As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer , you will be responsible for all necessary engineering activities such as preparing electrical design for orders and quotations,BOMs,cost calculations,optimization and preparing technical documents

Job Responsibilities

• Receiving and assessing sales orders for feasibility both technical and related to costs& delivery time and degree of standardization.

• Discussing and negotiating problems and/or deviations and solutions with Sales Organizations or direct customer contact in accordance with the applicable authorization frameworks.

• Analysing substantive order data&specifications and preparing transformer designs , check&control electrical and mechanical design outputs

• Translating order data into technical documentation, preparing BOM,Technical datasheets,Cost calculation and other technical documents

• Providing technical support to production.

• Leading the design and production developments

• Handling changes (resulting in less/extra work) during the operational execution process with support of a calculation tool (Design program,BidManager,optimization programs), and/or based on commercial technical possibilities in consultation with the relevant Sales Country Organization

• Preparing technical training for teammates and other support departments

• Involving & leading the internal quality problem solving process

• Provide technical support to find & evaluate the alternative suppliers and lead the project if needed.

• Monitoring and reporting of production & test result based on design values.

Qualifications:

  • Having bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent

  • 3-5 years of professional experience working with transformer design is a must

Skills:

• High level technical knowledge of transformer electrical design

• Having a strong knowledge of transformer production and materials

• Experience in working with MS Office and ERP programs

• Having good knowledge about IEC 60076 series and other relavant global standards

• Strong project-management skills.

• Strong organizational, communication and time management skills

• Capable of working independently as well as within a team.
