The Role

We're seeking a seasoned leader to join our team as the DCS APAC Operations Director. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for driving business growth, ensuring operational excellence, and leading a high-performing team of project managers, engineers, and technical specialists.

A typical day may involve:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to drive business growth and innovation in the APAC region, with a focus on achieving growth targets and expanding our client base through strategic account management and business development initiatives.

  • Provide high-level oversight for all ICT infrastructure projects within the region, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while developing and implementing quality, safety, and compliance processes to ensure operational excellence and minimize risk.

  • Lead a high-performing team of project managers, engineers, and technical specialists to deliver world-class projects across the APAC region, developing and implementing training and development programs to enhance the skills and performance of your team.

  • Foster senior relationships with key clients and partners, building and maintaining strong relationships to drive business growth and innovation.

  • Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to drive business growth, innovation, and best practices across the organization.

  • Develop and implement quality, safety, and compliance processes to ensure operational excellence and minimize risk.

  • Address escalated issues or challenges related to project execution, resource management, or client satisfaction, ensuring that risks are identified and mitigated to prevent delays, cost overruns, or project failures.

  • Develop and manage the business plan, setting financial targets and driving revenue growth as the P/L owner of the Whitespace Directline with DCS APAC.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the technology infrastructure or data centre solutions industry

  • Proven track record of driving business growth and innovation, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence

  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire high-performing teams

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks

  • Experience with quality, safety, and compliance processes, with a strong focus on operational excellence and risk management
