What the day will look like
Provide specialist technical advice to colleagues and clients on managing exposure to cyber risk and cyber insurance.
Understand and articulate the value proposition of the broader Aon Cyber Solutions offering (proactive, reactive and advisory services).
Lead Broking Strategy in accordance with Engagement Protocols and support country and regional broking teams in the negotiation and placement of cyber insurance policies.
Support deployment of the broader Aon Cyber Solutions offering, particularly scenario development and coverage analysis contained in quantification and simulation services.
Negotiate policy wording amendments and endorsements with insurers and drive quality control initiative across all cyber policies placed in Asia
Present on cyber risk and insurance in individual client meetings as well as large client events
Partner with Aon resources (Sales & Marketing, Specialty Team, GBC and in-Country teams) to deliver the widest practical range of insurance solutions and services to client.
Complete contributions to tender responses to ensure timely submission and quality of reports.
Ensure implementation of broking excellence initiatives including: Pricing & Profitability; Client Promise; Sales /Cross Selling; SPS; Wording/Slip standardization; Standard Contracts; Data Quality; Broking operations process flow; Carrier / market engagements; Commission Grids.
Interface with the market and to secure optimum outcome for client risk coverage.
Contribute to key thought leadership content for our clients and markets, and demonstrate understanding and insight into the industry, clients, risks and solutions.
Contribute to up to date marketing materials on carrier appetite and solutions available to Specialty clients.
Ensure knowledge and best practice approaches are captured, documented and shared among cyber champion network.
Contribute, as required, to Specialty Broking and Aon Cyber Solutions initiatives in general.
Any additional duties that may be allocated to you by the Company from time to time.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
At least 8 years of experience in cyber and/or financial lines insurance (or relevant adjacent professions, including law, consulting and cybersecurity).
Strong technical skills around insurance policy interpretation and drafting and/or cyber risk.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong cultural fit - ability to forge strong relationships with country and specialty colleagues as well as clients and insurers.
Sensitivity to and awareness of cultural differences and able to adapt accordingly.
