Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Sales Force Excellence Lead APAC to join our Commercial Excellence team in APAC.

As the Sales Force Excellence Lead APAC, you will be a pivotal member of the Commercial Excellence Leadership team, charged with optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of field forces across the JACK markets. You will play a critical role in driving sales force excellence, enhancing operational performance, and developing capabilities that align with the strategic objectives of Commercial Excellence in the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and implement the vision for Sales Force Excellence that aligns with the overall APAC commercial strategy.

  • Collaborate with the Commercial Excellence Leadership team to drive SFE transformation initiatives through data (AI) driven regional strategic platform programs.

  1. Efficiency Management
  • Oversee the allocation of field forces across JACK markets, maximizing productivity, ensuring optimal efficiency and resource utilization.

  • Identify synergies, harmonization, and automation opportunities in field operations to strengthen overall performance.

  1. Performance Analysis
  • Define, track, and report on efficiency indicators (KPIs) through in-depth data analysis in conjunction with the Data Science and the Business Intelligence & Analytics (BIA) Centers of Excellence.

  • Develop and manage a robust performance analysis framework to assess field force effectiveness and drive improvement initiatives.

  1. Incentive Framework Recommendations Development
  • Design and drive regionally aligned recommendations for performance-based incentive frameworks that motivate and reward field force excellence.

  • Ensure alignment of incentive structures with the strategic goals of the organization.

  1. Training and Development
  • Collaborate with regional Capability Development team and local sales trainings teams to design and deliver training programs that enhance the skills and competencies of the field force.

  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and excellence within the field teams.

  • Develop coaching skills in sales managers and leaders and ensure coaching is a priority in the field

  1. Collaboration and Governance
  • Work closely with local Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) teams and cross-functional Commercial Excellence teams in JACK markets to establish best practices and governance standards.

  • Serve as the Center of Excellence for SFE, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and productivity across markets.

  1. Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on trends, insights, and actions needed to optimize field force performance.

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across different markets to ensure alignment and support for SFE initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in sales force effectiveness, commercial operations, or related roles.

  • 3+ years above-country/regional experience in leadership roles

  • Proven track record of leading change initiatives and driving operational excellence through data analysis and strategic insights.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
