We are seeking a Communications Site Auditor who is responsible for auditing processes and controls related to the compliance with R56 standards. R56 standards are specific to telecommunications and relate to the construction, installation, and maintenance of wireless communication sites and equipment. These standards ensure that the facilities and equipment comply with safety and operational requirements. As an Auditor you will be involved in R56 compliance and assess whether the construction and maintenance practices adhere to these standards, ensuring that everything from site preparation to equipment installation meets the required specifications for safety and operational efficiency.

Locations: Remote with 80% travel to sites in Mississippi. Travel expenses covered

Contract 4 months with extensions

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years working in the telecommunications field

• 2+ years working as a communications site auditor

• Proven experience working on R56 audits, identifying compliance issues and solutions to resolve those issues

• R56 Audit certification

• Live near a major airport on the and be willing to travel]

What You Will Be Doing

• Auditing Compliance: Conduct audits to ensure that construction, installation, and maintenance activities of wireless communication sites and equipment comply with R56 standards.

• Documentation Review: Review technical documentation, engineering drawings, and specifications to verify adherence to R56 requirements.

• Site Inspections: Perform on-site inspections to assess physical infrastructure, equipment installation, grounding, and safety practices. Identifying non-compliance issues and proposing appropriate corrective actions.

• Reporting: Prepare audit reports detailing findings, non-conformities, and recommendations for corrective actions.

• Communication: Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and site personnel to address compliance issues and improve processes. .
