WASHINGTON TRUST BANK Associate Data Solutions Analyst in Spokane, Washington

Description The Associate Data Solutions Analyst will serve as a pivotal link between business needs and technical solutions leveraging enterprise data. Primary responsibilities include solutioning, supporting, configuring, and troubleshooting incentive comp plans and workflows within the state-of-the-art platform provided by Varicent. This role will mentor under an Enterprise Solutions Analyst while working in a cross functional team. This position will be Data Analytic heavy, offering a unique opportunity to learn many data points within the bank driving short- and long-term strategies. Essential Functions: Develop solutions for new or complex incentive comp plans Configure business scenarios and plans within the Varicent platform following consistent architecture/design for new and complex incentive comp plans. Build platform reporting to support department, regional and bank compensation strategies Conduct comprehensive analysis of business processes, requirements, and objectives to identify improvement opportunities and innovation potential. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, define, and document business requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications. Learn and leverage low-code application tools Ability to build moderate complexity SQL for research and integration Assists with special projects or duties as assigned. Knowledge of general banking practices and business unit functions. Regular, reliable attendance is required. Take ownership of the end-to-end solutions lifecycle, from requirements gathering, design and analysis to implementation and ongoing support. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address integration challenges and optimize technology performance. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT (Information Technology) teams, effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Frequently interfaces with internal/external partners and makes significant contributions to department goals and planning efforts. Able to collaboratively identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance workflows, and optimize systems to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Responsible for following change management policies and procedures for system changes and bank control changes. Performs compliance and risk management duties as required or assigned. Qualifications: BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Experience with Varicent or similar incentive compensation software. Experience in data analytics and/or business analysis. Strong communication skills; ability to analyze, synthesize and articulate complex ideas to multiple levels of the organization; technical writing skills as needed for documentation. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate and work effectively with diverse groups of people. Strong detail orientation with high level of organizational skills and ability to multi-task, managing interruptions with multiple projects. Well-developed problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated self-motivation and initiative; ability to work well both independently and with others. Functional knowledge of or work experience within incentive compensation a plus Compensation: $70,232 - $105,347 The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position located in Spokane, WA. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. This position is eligible to participate in an applicable annual incentive plan.
