HP Inc. Business Process Engineer in Spring, Texas

The Process Engineer role entails analyzing and documenting current business processes to pinpoint inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas requiring improvement. They will closely collaborate with stakeholders across departments to redesign processes, aiming to elevate efficiency, effectiveness, and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current support processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

  • Document existing processes, including process flows, procedures, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Work closely with stakeholders from various markets to gather requirements and understand business needs.

  • Lead process improvement initiatives by proposing and implementing innovative solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to redesign processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Develop and maintain process documentation, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to monitor process performance and identify further opportunities for improvement.

  • Provide training and support to staff members on updated processes and procedures.

  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in process engineering and business process management.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvement methodologies and frameworks.

Education and Experience Required:

  • 10 to 15 years of field experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in project management or similar roles within a business environment.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Expertise in Business Process Management (BPM).

  • Proficiency in Six Sigma and Agile methodologies (certifications are a plus).

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Deep understanding of key operational policies, processes, and methodologies relevant to project management.

  • Ability to speak authoritatively on project management techniques across various levels of the organization.

  • Active contributor to the Services Project Management (PM) professional community.

  • PMP certification is preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive process optimization and efficiency improvements.

  • Proficiency in using project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or Jira).

  • Change management experience is a plus, with a proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements.

The base pay range for this role is $90,100 to $138,750 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
