Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $12 / Hour

What you'll be doing as a Daycare Teacher:

• Supervise and direct a group of preschool children, ensuring their safety, engagement, and creativity

• Collaborate with the lead teacher to implement daily plans aligned with the curriculum and Kentucky Department of Education Standards

• Assist with housekeeping, diapering, toilet training, meal service, and record keeping

• Plan and conduct small-group activities, assist with large-group activities, and interact appropriately with children

• Assist in ongoing assessments by documenting children's progress

• Provide coverage during staff breaks

• Supervise lunch, playground activities, and walks

• Promote individualized attention for children by assisting with routine duties

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required

• Warmth and genuine concern for children

• Understanding of children's developmental needs

• Respect for children's ideas, feelings, abilities, and differences

• Ability to handle emergencies and follow center rules and regulations

• Flexibility to adapt to changes in schedules and environment

• Knowledge of curriculum practices and willingness to implement them

• Background check and drug screening required
