Robert Half Accountant - Compensation Coordinator Springfield, Massachusetts

Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accountant - Compensation Coordinator in Springfield, Massachusetts. The primary function of this role is to manage the commission payment process and broker bonus programs within the industry. The role involves coordinating with brokers, analyzing data trends, and providing recommendations for program improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in the commission payment process, ensuring smooth and accurate transactions

• Administer broker bonus programs, conducting detailed analysis and creating custom reports for budgeting and forecasting purposes

• Assist brokers with any queries related to compensation, ensuring clear communication and prompt resolution

• Maintain procedural manuals, updating and revising as necessary to reflect current practices

• Collaborate with the Legal Department to address any legal concerns that may arise in the course of work

• Ensure brokers meet credentialing and licensing requirements, securing compliance with regulations

• Handle sensitive data independently, demonstrating strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Perform account analysis, account reconciliation, and accounting entries as part of routine duties

• Train brokers on processes, providing guidance and support as necessary

• Carry out payments reconciliation and manage accounts payable, ensuring financial accuracy. Requirements • Applicant must possess a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in the field of Accounting.

• Proficiency in Account Analysis is crucial for successful job performance.

• Must be adept at making accurate Accounting Entries as part of their daily duties.

• Capability to perform Account Reconciliation is a must, ensuring the accuracy of all financial data.

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) is required, as the role involves managing outgoing payments.

• Experience in handling Commissions in the Insurance industry is beneficial for this role.

• The ability to conduct Payments Reconciliation is necessary, ensuring all transactions align with account balances.
