Description We are in search of an Insurance Follow-Up Specialist to join our team in Springfield, Massachusetts. This role is crucial in resolving post claim review provider appeals, offering advice to Provider Relations Representatives, and identifying business problems during the appeal review process. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Review and resolve post claim review provider appeals in a timely manner

• Provide guidance and assistance to the Provider Relations Representatives on complex issues

• Identify and address business problems and issues that emerge during the appeal review

• Collaborate with other departments to implement changes to policies

• Suggest training opportunities for other departments on the provider appeals process

• Utilize various software tools including Allscripts, athenahealth, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, and Epic Software

• Handle various aspects of claim administration and collection processes

• Manage billing functions and benefit functions efficiently and accurately. Requirements • Proficiency in Allscripts, athenahealth, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, and Epic Software is essential.

• Must possess strong knowledge and experience in Appeals.

• Familiarity with Benefit Functions is required.

• Must have a thorough understanding of Billing Functions.

• Experience in Claim Administration is necessary.

• Must have a solid background in Collection Processes.
