BAE Systems Sr Systems Administrator in Springfield, Virginia
Job Description
BAE Systems is looking for a Sr Systems Administrator to join the Consolidated Analysis Orchestration Services (CAOS) development team in Springfield, VA. The ideal candidate should have full lifecycle development experience and be an expert developer with knowledge of systems engineering standards and processes and industry experience. Assigned tasks will be technically challenging, achievable, time-boxed and under the direction of technical leadership. Duties will include analyzing, developing, debugging, testing, configuring, and deploying systems solutions in an agile, cloud based, and continuous development environment. Most of the work will be done in the Java programming languages and using RESTful and/or SOAP Web Services. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are required to perform well as a member of a rapid paced, cross-functional team environment.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree and 9 to 13 years of relevant experience. Additional relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Demonstrated knowledge of software practices and configuration management.
Extensive Java programming experience.
RESTful and/or SOAP Web Services in Java
Experience with Linux
Candidate must possess a Security or higher level security certification

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
