We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chemist II to join our dynamic team in St. Louis. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of industry experience and a strong background in analytical instrumentation, preferably with Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICPMS) and/or Gas Chromatography with Mass Spectrometry (GCMS) experience. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and development projects within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and complex analyses using ICPMS, GCMS and/or other analytical instrumentation (HPLC, LCMS, etc.) to support various research and development projects.
Develop and validate analytical methods for the detection and quantification of trace elements and other compounds.
Interpret and report analytical data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals and timelines.
Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
Document experimental procedures and results in accordance with company protocols.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
2-5 years of industry experience, with a focus on ICPMS and/or GCMS preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with method development and validation.
Experience following established methods and/or protocols.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality control procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft products (word, excel, etc.).
Position is a full time Monday-Friday, 8-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates within commutable distance to St. Louis, MO are encouraged to apply.
