The Pool and Beach Attendant is responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of pool/beach guests and maintaining daily operations of the pool. This position also involves assisting with beach operations and equipment. A Pool Attendant must be friendly, courteous, professional, and demonstrate strong communication skills.

Essential Functions

  • Greets guests with a friendly and sincere welcome

  • Respectfully listens and responds to guest questions and complaints in an efficient and professional manner

  • Appropriately organizes pool towels, refreshes as needed. Delivers used towels to Laundry for cleaning and keeps towels stocked

  • Assists in maintaining hotel’s supply of towels by following policy for guest responsibility of hotel’s pool towels.

  • Maintains cleanliness of pool decks, pool restrooms, and surrounding area.

  • Organizes lounge chairs, stands, tables and other pool furniture in an orderly fashion.

  • Actively participates in the assurance of the safety and fun of all programs.

  • Assists with beach operations and equipment as needed. This includes transportation of equipment to and from the beach and proper set-up in designated area. Attends to guest needs.

  • Completes additional duties as assigned

Required Experience:

Minimum Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a public contact position

  • Customer service experience in the hospitality industry strongly preferred

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Ability to perform well under pressure

  • Detail-oriented, organized, cleanly

  • Must have a flexible schedule (may be required to work late shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed)
