Application Development Manager

We are seeking an Application Development Manager to lead our application development and engineering team members. The teams you lead will be responsible for building new features and optimizing strategic analytics platforms across the organization.

As a leader, you will have both the accountability to grow and evolve the teams and be responsible for maintaining and improving existing systems to ensure they meet the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Build, develop, and lead local and remote team of application developers focused on pump performance data.

  • Work according to agile methodologies.

  • Work closely with business system owners for prioritization and taking care of the applications.

  • Responsible for 80 applications

  • Proactive communication on application health, impacts, executive escalations, and other critical analysis to management and key stakeholders.

  • Build, develop, and lead problem management process to ensure long-term application development lifecycle management.

  • Drive a continuous improvement environment.

  • Provide senior management with detailed reviews and reports of service disruptions, metrics, and launch plans.

  • Coordinate small projects from a project management point of view

  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

  • train, coach and grow the maturity of teams and associates

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in a business analysis or related role, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

  • Some years of technical leadership experience and managing teams

  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Excel, Tableau).

  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and software development lifecycles.

  • Experience supporting the planning and management of project initiatives in a similar team environment

  • Experience with Project Management Tools such as Microsoft Project and Microsoft SharePoint

  • Experience in translating requirements into optimized designs and identifying alternatives

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment

  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies, including data modeling and process mapping

  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with experience guiding and developing junior team members

  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to drive innovative solutions
