Philips System Verification Manager in Suzhou, China
Your role:
To establish a professional system verification team, cultivate qualified employees to support product development and maintenance by conducting productive and meaningful system level verification, to ensure high quality of design release for customers
To help team member continue improve the product related and verification related knowledge and skill, and ensure team’s behavior compliance with Philips’s culture
To lead team do product verification, ensure all activities compliance with QMS
To cultivate a learning team that continuous grow engineering capability to do system verification with year to year KPI as ‘’Defect Escape Rate” to reduce. The Engineering Capability includes clinical application and user needs, product design function diagram and I/F, component failure mode and effect, Sixsigma and statistics, Good Documentation Practice.
To cultivate a technical confident team that can do sufficient content technical communication with design team and system engineering team, as result, according to design change impact analysis the team can do best verification scoping and team can continuously optimize test case as needed. Again, measure by year to year ‘’Defect Escape Rate’’ to reduce.
To lead team Performs product testing (automated or manual) throughout the whole development cycle ensuring built-in quality, by conducting CICD in Agile way.
Provides test expertise to define and drive product test strategies and initiatives at all levels, define and execute test for product function and performance, supervise and influence lower level (subsystem, design element, unit) test. In order to drive quality to earliest phase, to minimize the total test efforts but still generate best quality output.
Reviews ( functional and non-functional) requirements/stories/features for accuracy and testability
Lead team Consults within scrum or other teams on testing plan and participates, for example. In scrum team testing, planning and demo activities
Lead team Conducts not only functional and performance test , but also stress test and reliability test
Maximizes Automation test coverage, maintain and develop automation test the management tools/simulation models/test frameworks/scripting languages
Lead team to do Documents test plans, protocols, and reports, in professional and compliant way, with Good Documentation Practice knowledge and experience.
