Job Overview

TE Connectivity's HR Business Partners implement Human Resources policies at the business unit level partnering with management to drive company-wide programs and initiatives (i.e. succession, talent acquisition, total rewards and change management). They foster partnership across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives, strategies and policies of the organization and work closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resources, organizational and employee development. In addition, HR Business Partners participate in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., salary review, stock renewal, workforce planning, and organizational change, etc.)

A great opportunity to join a large global listed company with office and manufacturing footprint in the Americas, EMEA, APAC regions. In this dual focused role, you will take your seat at the APAC leadership table driving talent priorities across the region whilst being the HR lead for our small group of employees in Australia and New Zealand.

You are an experienced HR generalist or business partner at senior leadership level and have former work experience in managing complex industrial relation matters including enterprise bargaining (AU), then this could be your opportunity.

Your key responsibilities-

  • Strategic HR partnership to senior leadership driving regional and global talent agendas across APAC enabling both, business, and people growth.

  • Be a thought partner on strategic workforce planning and articulate people priorities alongside the business’ value drivers.

  • As the HR leader for ANZ, ensure local compliance with Employee & Industrial Relations including applicable industrial instruments, Enterprise Agreements, Awards and National Employment Standards.

  • In partnership with local business leaders, develop strategies for Enterprise Agreement negotiations including ownership on the full process.

  • Management and operations of HRIS for ANZ.

To be successful in this role

  • You will need to have solid experience in understanding, interpreting and applying awards and structures in both blue and white collar environments.

  • Extensive HR knowledge, skills and experience especially ER and IR (EAs and union dealings)

  • You will need to have a positive attitude, self drive and outstanding communication and presentation skills in a corporate context, and the ability to positively engage with and influence stakeholders, both remotely and face to face.

  • You will have experienced a transformation environment relating to culture and have the natural ability to empower and advise management with best practice HR solutions.

  • You will need to be a business minded HR generalist / business partner with a minimum of 8-10 years’ experience.

  • Appropriate degree qualifications in HR or related disciplines
