IHG Manager on Duty in Sydney, Australia
Nestled in the heart of the picturesque Double Bay, this iconic Sydney hotel embodies timeless elegance and unparalleled service. With breathtaking views of the bay and a reputation for excellence, InterContinental Sydney Double Bay sets the standard for luxury hospitality.
Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be:
Overseeing daily hotel operations, ensuring seamless guest services from check-in to check-out.
Leading the way – managing guest experiences, team performance and hotel operations
Being first point of contact for any critical emergency situations
Prioritising workload and ensuring your team deliver authentic, memorable experiences
Developing your team’s skills to drive results that positively impact on hotel performance
Responding to guest inquiries, concerns, and requests, resolving issues with professionalism and grace
Maintaining high standards of quality and presentation throughout the property.
What We need from you:
2 years’ front desk/guest service leader experience
Excellent communication, problem solving, reasoning and motivational skills
Ability to stay for long periods and occasional lifting of heavy items
Working knowledge of hotel property management systems like Opera beneficial
Willingness to work evenings and weekends
Diploma or equivalent, preferred but not essential
