The Associate Dean for Faculty holds an administrative appointment supporting the Dean in the daily management and planning of the nursing program, including but not limited to quality management and accreditation. The Associate Dean will collaborate with faculty to ensure the curriculum supports achievement of student learning and program outcomes. In addition, this role assists faculty with incorporating established professional standards and consistently reviews the curriculum for integrity, rigor and currency. This position may also include limited teaching responsibilities.

• MINIMUM EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE

• Required:

• Master's Degree with a major in Nursing required.

• Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse with New York State required.

• Preferred:

• National League for Nursing certification as a Nurse Educator preferred.

• EXPERIENCE

• Required:

• Two (2) years recent clinical experience. Minimum of five (5) years experience as a Nurse Educator. Two years (2) active involvement in curriculum design and evaluation, faculty development and evaluation, and operational oversight of nursing education program activities.
