Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Syracuse, New York. The role primarily involves managing administrative duties and providing customer service in a busy, professional setting.

Responsibilities:

• Answering inbound and outbound calls, screening and directing these accordingly

• Handling email correspondence with efficiency and professionalism

• Scheduling appointments and managing appointment calendars

• Greeting clients, assisting with registration needs, inquiries, directions, and information requests

• Data entry tasks, such as updating client profiles and managing internal documents and databases

• Performing receptionist duties as required, ensuring smooth operation of the front desk

• Processing client payments accurately and securely

• Ordering supplies as needed to maintain office inventory

• Sorting and distributing mail in a timely manner

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word to complete job tasks effectively. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Experience with data entry and maintaining databases

• Excellent customer service skills and experience handling inbound and outbound calls

• Ability to manage email correspondence effectively and professionally

• Experience in scheduling appointments and managing calendars

• Familiarity with receptionist duties such as greeting visitors and handling inquiries

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
