Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk based in Syracuse, New York. The successful candidate will join our team in the telecom industry, where they will be responsible for managing customer interactions and data entry tasks. This role is office-based and is crucial for maintaining efficient operations.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and manage their transactions within our queuing system.

• Review and screen customer paperwork to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Enter data into the computer system, specifically passing vision test results.

• Assist customers at DMV kiosks and provide necessary guidance.

• Take customer photos for driver's licenses, ensuring adherence to set standards.

• Grade vision test results and update customer records accordingly.

• Manage customer inquiries and provide timely and accurate responses.

• Maintain a customer-focused approach to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Adhere to all data entry procedures and maintain high levels of data integrity.

• Use your skills in Customer Service, Time Management, and Procurement Card operations to execute your duties effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in data entry and related software applications

• Excellent customer service skills

• Experience in handling paperwork and purchase orders

• Ability to assist customers effectively and professionally

• Familiarity with procurement card usage

• Previous work experience in a similar role is preferred

• Knowledge of "About Time" software will be an advantage

• Experience in coordinating photo shoots is a plus

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• High level of integrity and professionalism

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
