Amazon WHS UTR Coordinator, Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) in São Paulo, Brazil
Description
WHS UTR Coordinator will be responsible for partnering with WHS Managers at AMZL and site operations teams in Delivery Stations to execute company safety policies and ensure compliance with all applicable local and regional regulations. The WHS UTR Coordinator will support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing risks in our processes and ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for Amazonians and associates in operations.
You will instruct and train Operations Leaders on Amazon safety policies and assist the operations site teams in incorporating our safety standards at their sites. You will work to identify best practices and incorporate these methodologies into our standards to continuously improve the safety culture.
WHS UTR Coordinator Responsibilities:
Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with all applicable local regulations and Amazon safety policies;
Measure site performance against published safety policy requirements. For any deficiencies, identify a plan for the site to implement and resolve;
Deliver on-time and high-quality projects to Operations;
Provide support for continuous improvement projects-
Analyze safety metrics and review daily, weekly, and monthly incidents to identify trends and allocate appropriate resources to high-risk areas;
Conduct frequent site safety audits to identify all non-compliant equipment and/or processes, implementing solutions to eliminate exposure to these risks and prevent injuries;
Audit record-keeping practices and Global Safety Database (AUSTIN) entries to ensure alignment with global safety standards and local regulations;
Audit workplace organization and associate behaviors to ensure that training, auditing, and scoring methods are accurate and consistent;
Conduct and report incident investigations.
Basic Qualifications
Safety technician degree;
Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays;
Microsoft Office;
High school or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
English Skills.
Bachelors Degree.
