Abbott Supply Chain Manager in Taguig City, Philippines

Key Areas of Accountability:

Inventory Orders and Arrival Monitoring

  • Place orders based upon agreed lead time and volume parameters

  • Coordinate with the suppliers/Internal manufacturing plants for order placements

  • Monitor the source and schedule of deliveries through the Shipment Report

  • Coordinate with internal customers regarding probable shipment delays/arrivals

  • Check, update and monitor if there are changes in the schedule and stock supply through the Anticipated Delay Report

  • Ensure smooth stock flow from source to Abbott Warehouse.

Inventory Availability Monitoring

  • Update the Master Arrival Schedule (MAS) and Master Maintenance File

  • Process Request for Change Master Arrival Schedule if supply is not sufficient

  • Track the capability of supply to meet demand through the Sales and Operating Planning Sheet

  • Determines and reviews Safety Stocks and Inventory Levels

  • Work closely with Demand, Distribution and Logistics to determine if there is a need to increase request for stocks

Report Generation

  • Prepare the Sales and Operating Planning Sheet and Supply Constraints Reports for commentaries explaining the rationale for the supply shortfall.

  • Prepare Back Order Report to track supplies that are lacking.

  • Prepare Work in Progress Report to summarize all items that undergo repacking in the warehouse.

  • Prepare Global Safety Stock Exception report to be used as basis for changes in buffer stock.

  • Prepare In-Market-To Market Supply Input Report to summarize details of buffer stock

  • Prepare Risk Inventory Report to summarize potential risks, determine inventory for write off and monitor available inventory versus the demand.

  • Prepare the Available-To-Promise Report to summarize the availability of goods to customers.

  • Ensure that relevant systems and systems to publish the reports are up to date and accurate at all times.

Third Party Manufacturer Delivery Performance

  • Prepare redressing plan for third party manufacturer to highlight changes in appearance.

  • Prepare redressing for sampling plan.

  • 3PL Billing and TPM Billing management

  • Custom duty and Tax computation and Brokerage management.

Inventory Management

  • Ensure the availability of stocks in the stores.

  • Check the accuracy of the stocks delivered using the sales invoice.

  • Inform buyers of out of stock products.

  • Determine monthly inventory of the Distributor and its depots/branches to determine which stocks are fast and slow moving.

  • Determine the right order level.

  • Ensure proper Inventory management across different warehouse of buyer.

Performance Monitoring

  • Perform Root Cause Analysis on the Monthly Sales Report to communicate buyer performance and present current and previous month’s sales figures.

  • Generate Itinerary Report to communicate plans in meeting the sales target.

  • Track the daily/weekly sales performance of the buyer.

  • Continuously challenging current process and drive efficiency.

  • Optimize distress inventory through proper planning and distress inventory management.

  • Create Stock at risk report/ Distress inventory reports.

Account Management

  • Assist in the processing of buyer payments

  • Attend monthly distributor meetings for updates on performance.

  • Ensure that inventory returns are kept at the prescribed levels.

  • Maintain cordial business relationship with buyers to secure repeat and referral business.

  • Pro-actively seek and understand buyer needs and requirements.

  • Resolve buyer issues and concerns.

Others

  • Assist in the new product launch initiatives.

  • Coordinate initiatives and meetings

  • Give ideas and suggestions to improve process.

  • Address inquiries from marketing and customer services.

  • Create templates.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • At least 4-5 years job experience preferably in jobs related to Demand, supply chain (production planning, logistics, distributions, customer service)

  • Knowledge in Marketing and sales Process.

Competencies required:

  • Self-motivated and eager to grow

  • Presentation and good communication skill.

  • Analytical and Critical Thinking

  • Problem Solving, Judgment and scenario planning

  • Computer literacy (Proficient in Excel )

  • Proficient in SAP.

Minimum Qualification:

College graduate preferably analytical-based course like math, Supply chain planning, accounting or economics
