Job Summary:

The Gildart Haase School of Computer Sciences and Engineering ( GHSCSE ) is looking for an adjunct to teach INFO 4101- Data Communication and Computer Networksin the Fall 2024 semester. This is a required course for Information Technology majors.

Course description:

INFO 4101- Data Communication and Computer Networks provides a comprehensive overview of data communications and computer networks, with emphasis on network simulation and network protocols. The topics to be covered include network components and model, network services and applications, network transport architectures, routing and switching, local area networks, mobile networks and network security and management. Integrated laboratory experience. This course is patterned after CompTIA Network+ certification curriculum and includes relevant certification labs on Netlab+ installed on our server.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Information Technology or related field required.

Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
