Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Job Description

Directs, plans, and coordinates activities within the Warehouse & Logistics department to ensure smooth operations for receiving, material movements, shipping, and transportation. Promotes the professional competence of the department through direct supervision of daily activities, training, and support. Has the responsibility for creating business processes and standards to increase the efficiency of the responsible area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and forecast shipments coming in and out of the fulfillment center.

• Work with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to understand where material is in the process.

• Forecast raw materials needed for production.

• Be heavily involved in material management and planning.

• Understand when material is going out and when material needs to come in to meet production numbers and customer orders.

• Help run the budget and work with the Supply Chain Department.

• Manage and lead a team of 22 reports, including 2-4 indirect reports such as Logistics Coordinators, Shipping Clerks, Warehouse Leads, and Operators.

• Sit in the office area of the fulfillment center with Logistics Coordinators and Shipping Clerks.

• Maintain direct communication with internal operations to ensure timelines are being met for customers' orders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a management/leadership role

• Bachelor's Degree

• Prior manufacturing experience preferred, but open to 3PL

• SAP knowledge and experience

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

• Knowledge of managing transportation services

• Prior experience managing and leading a team, with the ability to provide examples

Work Environment

The role will be based in the office area of the fulfillment center, working closely with Logistics Coordinators and Shipping Clerks. The environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring attention to detail and strong communication skills. The dress code is business casual, and you will be expected to collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth operations.

This is a Permanent position based out of Terre Haute, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
