You’ll break new ground by:

  • You design, develop, test and support backends for web-based applications and cloud driven cases for in-plant and cross-plant usage scenarios and attach particular importance to multi-platform usability, stability, and fault tolerance.

  • Before, during and after development, you will work intensively with various departments and know how to translate user stories into concrete development. It is always your goal to design data requirements, architectures, modules and functions in a simple and generic way and thus reusable and easy to maintain.

  • You will work closely with the cloud and data architects during development and coordinate your development with a focus on performance requirements, safety and security and interfaces.

  • You work routinely with a version control system (GITLAB), cloud environment (AWS, AZURE).

  • You implement best practices to design small and scalable systems.

  • Finally, you will analyze Siemens internal as well as external frameworks and developments regarding best practices and state-of-the-art technologies, methods and solutions.

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including :

  • You have very good knowledge of Python Fast API.

  • If you are familiar with frontend technologies such as Angular it is considered a plus.

  • You understand design patterns and architectures, and you can build applications using these patterns e.g. Clean Code Architecture.

  • Ideally, you can directly show your experience in developing web-based applications and make it available as a reference (link).

  • You are also familiar with deploying applications to and from an AWS environment and are familiar with OAuth 2.0.

  • Personally, you convince through analytical thinking, independent and careful work as well as high initiative, learning and communication skills.
