Oracle Senior/Test Automation Engineer in THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, India

Job Description

The Oracle Recruiting Customer Success QA team is seeking a skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, applying, and maintaining quality standards for company products, adhering to both internal and external standards. This position involves developing and executing software test plans, analyzing and writing test standards and procedures, maintaining documentation of test results, and recommending corrective actions based on test analysis.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.

  • Develop and execute software test plans.

  • Analyze and write test standards and procedures.

  • Maintain documentation of test results.

  • Analyze test results and recommend corrective actions.

  • Develop quality standards, control methods, and theories for use during manufacturing, testing, and inspection to assess product quality.

  • Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.

Qualifications:

  • BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to the functional area.

  • 2-8 years of software engineering or related experience.

  • Fully competent in own area of expertise.

  • Ability to perform duties and tasks that are varied and complex, requiring independent judgment.

  • Experience in a project lead role or supervision of lower-level personnel is a plus.

Additional Information:

  • As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products.

  • This position requires a high level of independence and expertise in quality assurance practices.

  • The role may involve project leadership and supervision responsibilities.
