As a Manufacturing Analyst,  you will work closely with NVR departments including Manufacturing plants, Procurement, A rchitectural Services, IT, Corporate, and Homebuilding Operations to collect, review, and analyze business data, develop solutions and create management reports, and manage specified projects to facilitate operational results . This includes identifying opportunities for improved operational/financial performance and supporting the implementation of these opportunities across Manufacturing operations .

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor and analyze data based on operational reporting, financial statements, and other business tools to recommend solutions that improve efficiency, profitability, and business objectives .

  • Lead and support continuous improvement projects across Manufacturing, and with cross functional partners including IT, Homebuilding Operations, etc. Identify , develop, and implement solutions which positively impact key business results.

  • Perform financial/cost analysis and support the implementation of recommended improvements.

  • Identify areas of underperformance and opportunities for improved performance based on lowest achievable base cost and communicate recommendations to Manufacturing leadership teams.

  • Generate operational reports through advanced use of Excel, Microsoft PowerApps, and other NVR systems . Translate findings into executive summaries for distribution across manufacturing and NVR operations.

  • Create tools in Excel to automate processes and provide increased data visibility to facilitate decision making.

  • Develop and distribute operational reports, including but not limited to, production staffing, delivery performance, miscellaneous turns, plant audits, customer-reported shortages, efficiencies, etc.

  • Provide subject matter expertise in NVR systems to Building Products teams.

  • Regularly engage with Manufacturing plants, IT, and other business partners to improve the data collection process and usability of key reports . Support the testing of new or improved tools.

  • Maintain the Building Products SharePoint site(s).

  • Provide other analytical and project support assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years’ analytical experience

  • Bachelors' or a ssociate degree in a related field preferred, will consider equivalent experience

  • Project Management experience preferred

  • Experience in the application of Process Improvement and Continuous Improvement methodologies; Lean experience preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft software (Excel, Power BI,)

  • Understanding of VBA, programming logic preferred

  • Detail oriented, with strong time management and organizational skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and an effective communicator
