MIG Welder/Fabricator at Seneca Manufacturing

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing various welding tasks to fabricate and assemble metal structures according to specifications. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth. Responsibilities: - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding processes specifications - Set up and operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and Stick welders - Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions - Monitor the welding process to ensure quality and efficiency - Inspect welds for defects and perform necessary repairs or adjustments - Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers to ensure accurate dimensions - Operate laser cutting machines, CNC machines, electrical discharge machining, and stamping presses as needed - Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with specifications - Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Welder or similar role - Proficient in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding - Familiarity with programming CNC machines is a plus - Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments and quality inspection procedures - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings - Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity - Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, bending) for extended periods of time - Valid certification in welding is preferred but not required Join our team as a Welder and enjoy competitive pay rates, opportunities for career advancement, and a supportive work environment. Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
